Standard TwinAir air filters are bonded together with two layers of different density foam designed specifically for use on TwinAir air filters. These two layers are flame laminated and the resulting thickness is 15mm.

The outer thicker foam traps the largest debris such as sand and dirt. The fine inner foam acts as a second filter, capturing fine particles while maintaining maximum airflow to the bike's intake.

The shape of the TwinAir filters is based on the original filters and has been further modified to improve airflow in the airbox and achieve the ideal filtering area.
