He was mowing lawns, shoveling gravel. He and his father found a used Kawasaki KX80 in the newspaper and after emptying his hard-earned savings account, the bike was his. After he finally got his mother to ride it to Hollister Hills, an hour and a half away,it happened that within two minutes of the KX's first ride, the rear axle fell out. The previous owner had used the wrong hardware! The kids day was over before it really started. During the ride home he wondered how something so seemingly insignificant could have such an impact on his day. Thus began a passion for reliable and appropriate motorcycle fasteners. Eleven years (and several other motorcycles) later, Bolt Motorcycle Hardware was born.In 2003 we released our first product, the Japanese Track Pack. Since then, we have created several other hardware solutions and our product line has continued to expand. Our fasteners are tested and used at the professional level in supercross, motocross and ATV racing. We carefully review new models each year to keep our hardware products current and usable.
