Located on the beautiful Central Coast of California, Bolt Motorcycle Hardware designs, assembles, packages and delivers hardware kits. It started in 1989 with a twelve year old boy who really wanted a motorcycle. He mowed lawns, threw gravel. He and his father found a used Kawasaki KX80 in the newspaper and after emptying his hard-earned savings account, the moto was his. After finally getting his mother to drive him to Hollister Hills, an hour and a half away, two minutes into the first ride, the rear axle of the KX fell out. The previous owner used the wrong hardware! Children's day was over before it really began. On the way home, he wondered how something so seemingly insignificant could have such an effect on his day. Thus began the passion for reliable and suitable motorcycle fasteners. Eleven years (and several more motorcycles) later, Bolt Motorcycle Hardware was born. In 2003, we released our first product, the Japanese Track Pack. Since then we have created several other hardware solutions and our product line is constantly expanding. Our fasteners are tested and used at a professional level in supercross, motocross and ATV racing. We carefully review new models every year to keep our hardware products up-to-date and usable.
